As an early adopter to Vizoop you will often see new features released. Over the last month we have released quite a few new features that we think you will find very useful. These features include:

• A new "General" category that is available to all subscribers at no additional cost.
• The ability to connect to LinkedIn pages and profiles.
• The ability to sort the calendar view by social media type or a specific page or profile.
• The ability to request a topic or submit an article to be added into Vizoop.
• The ability to give feedback on a specific post.

New General Category

The general category is full of content that is not specific to your industry. This category is full of funny images and videos, inspirational posts, quotes, current events and holiday related content. The idea behind this content is to simply get a conversation started or to give your audience a good laugh or "pick me up".

To access the General category simply select it in the dropdown menu at the top of the main articles page.

Connect to LinkedIn Pages and Profiles

With this latest release we have added the ability to connect and post to LinkedIn pages and profiles. Posting to LinkedIn is exactly the same process as posting to Facebook.

To connect to LinkedIn, simply go to the "My Account" tab and select "Social Connections".  Select the blue button that says "Sign in with LinkedIn" and follow the prompts.

Sort the Calendar View

For those of you who are managing multiple pages, this new feature will help you when the calendar view gets a bit overwhelming. When you create a post and select that it posts to multiple pages, an individual calendar entry is made for each page or profile that the post goes out to. To see all of the posts for a single page or profile, simply select the dropdown menu at the top of the calendar view. 

The left dropdown menu will sort by social media type. If you select Facebook for example, it will show you the scheduled posts for all of your Facebook pages or profiles.

The right dropdown menu will sort by connection. This is where you will select the specific page or profile you want to view.

Request a Topic

We want to always have the type of content that you want to share with your audience, and what better way to make sure of that than to let you give us suggestions!

You will see a new tab in the main navigation titled "Request an Article". This tab will open up a simple form where you can tell us what type of content you want us to find for you. Want an article on the importance of changing the timing belt on an Audi? Great! Want a video that explains what a mortgage underwriter does? We'll find that too!

Please be as specific as you can be. We will even write example posts for you if you share a link to a specific article with us.

Submit Feedback on Posts

No one knows your industry like you do, and our social media managers are not immune to mistakes, so it just makes sense for us to get feedback from you on content when needed. If you see an entry in Vizoop that is outdated, inaccurate, has a misspelling, or there is just something you need to let us know about it....... we have added a feature so you can let us know.

From the details page for a specific entry, just below the title you will see a link that says "Improve this Post". Just click on that link to give us feedback. We value your input!
